Well, here's the easiest way to store them.. Might I add, I keep about 1-2 foot of bailing wire (used for bailing hay) to the ends of all my body grippers Here is how I store them.. Note.. The springs.. The springs are brought to the same end of the trap. The spring w/the wire is started by wrapping the chain through the lose spring, 2-3 times and then just wrapped. Now, the wire is the finishing touch. It is wrapped around to finsh it all off and hold it together. The trigger is also inbetween the two springs to hold it in place, and help keep it from getting bent all to heck. I can just reach into the box of bodygrippers and pull one out, not haveing to worry about a big tangled mess. From my 16-0's on up is stored this way. Dan

Hey, I'd like to know also. Does storing with springs set weaken the springs? Makes sense that it might? Thanks,

I do it basically the same way cept I don't leave the springs set. I had some traps that lost strength yrs ago. I blamed it on leaving them set and so have been storing them unset ever since.
